For one-time only, the beasts of Boston rock got back together on stage at the Middle East Downstairs. Beer, sweat, and cut-up ties flew around. It was a rockin’ good time.
Before heading over to the Middle East for a one-time Scamper reunion, my cousin Steve and I headed over to Toad to see a local favourite of mine, Michelle Lewis perform. As a bonus, former-Baker boy, Conan Skyrme was joining her. He’s mighty dreamy, too.
Former co-worker and good friend, Ms. Georgy convinced myself and a few friends to head out to see her friend’s band at Great Scott. I only ended up with a few usable shots, sadly. But I present them here, still.
Friend and former coworker, Matt Ostrower, rolled his band, Lost in October, into Cambridge for a show at the Plough and Stars. Dick Derry and Sarah Blacker opened up the evening.
Helen, Colleen, and Michele modeled for me in the red-lit hallway. Get it? Roxanne? You don’t have to put on the red light? My wit is wasted on you people.
Because everyone has to have a birthday, for *some* reason, we all got together to celebrate Helen’s birthday. Chicken, party rats (perfect for late night blogging!), and shenanigans abound.
Co-worker and local rock hero, Ricky Brennan, entertained the bar crowd at Kennedy’s. I was there. It’s true. He rocked.
Rock legend and all-around good guy, Ricky Brennan, got married back in March to his beautiful wife, Heidi. They held a small reception this past weekend for friends and family in Abington.
